ISU Finishes Sixth At The ASU Thunderbird Invite

TEMPE, Ariz – The Iowa State men's golf team finished sixth in the 16-team ASU Thunderbird Invitational field this afternoon. The Cyclones carded rounds of 277, 282 and 288 for a three-round 847 total.

Arizona State ran away with the team title at 811.

Seniors Nick Voke and Ruben Sondjaja narrowly missed out on top-10 performances to pace the Cyclones. Sondjaja finished 11^th with rounds of 68-69-71 (208) and Voke tied for 12th at 209 with rounds of 68-69-72.

Voke has carded a sub-70 round in eight of his last 11 rounds.

Freshman Sam Vincent tied for 37th at 214.

The Cyclones are back in action, April 3-4 at the Seattle Redhawk Invitational.
