LUBBOCK, Texas - Iowa State (5-6, 1-2 Big 12) dropped its match to Big 12 foe No. 25 Texas Tech (12-4, 2-0 Big 12) Sunday afternoon, 6-1. The Cyclones battled, but couldn't overcome the Lady Raiders' firepower.
Annabella Bonadonna picked up Iowa State's lone win in the match over Olivia Peet, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 5 singles. It was the senior's 156th win in a Cyclone uniform. She is now three victories away from breaking Iowa State's overall career win record.
Texas Tech opened the dual by winning the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches over Iowa State to clinch the doubles point.
Iowa State couldn't piece together a comeback and ultimately fell in five of the six singles matches.

Iowa State returns home to host Oklahoma State Friday at 5 p.m. That match will be held at the Life Time Fitness in Urbandale, Iowa.
