Men's 4x400 Relay Closes Stanford Invite Winners

STANFORD, California – The Iowa State track and field weekend at the Stanford Invitational finished with a win as the men's 4x400-meter relay took first to close out competition Saturday at Cobb Track.
The Cyclone quartet of Eric Fogltanz, Ben Kelly, Cebastian Gentil and Roshon Roomes got the 4x4 victory for ISU in 3:09.99. It was a tight competition, as the Cyclones edged Minnesota by 0.01 seconds for the victory.
Another relay impressed for ISU earlier in the day in the women's 4x100-meter relay, which notched a season-best time of 46.84 to finish seventh. The team consisted of Keira Christie-Galloway (fresh off her school record in the 100-meter hurdles yesterday), Katarina Vlahovic, Emma Whigham and Sydney Milani.

Iowa State will be out West again next weekend at the Sun Angel Classic, hosted by Arizona State. Competition will take place on Friday and Saturday.
