RIO GRANDE, P.R. – The Iowa State women's golf team finished 11th out of 15 teams at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
The Cyclones fired a final-round 298 for a three-day 905 total.
Northwestern won the tournament title at 864, six shots ahead of Texas Tech.
Ruby Chou, who competed as an individual, led the Cyclones by tying for 28th with rounds of 73-72-77 (222). Taglao Jeeravivitaporn and Joy Chou tied for 31st with a score of 223.
Jeeravivitaporn had three birdies on her final-round card to record the low score (72) on the final day for the Cyclones.
The Cyclones are back in action, March 9-10 at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational.
