Cyclones Tie For Sixth At UCF Challenge Behind Strong Finish

ORLANDO – The Iowa State women's golf team finished strong at the UCF Challenge by carding a final-round 282 (6-under) to tie for sixth in the 16-team field. It was the sixth-lowest 18-hole team score in school history.
The Cyclones counted four scores below par in the final round (Liyana Durisic, 70; Taglao Jeeravivitaporn 70; Alanna Campbell, 71; Joy Chou, 71) to close out the tournament with a 54-hole 862 total.
Kent State won the team title at 843.
Durisic and Jeeravivitaporn tied for 12th at 213. Durisic and Jeeravivitaporn both had three birdies and just one bogey on their card today. Both set or equaled career low 54-hole rounds.
Campbell tied for 33rd at 217 (72-74-71).
The Cyclones are back in action at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Feb. 9-11.
