PLAYER TO WATCH
Thasaporn Naklo came out the gates hot to start the 2021 season. The nation's No. 38 player won her bracket at the Kitty Harrison Invite, going 4-0 in singles and extending her winning streak to six straight matches dating back to last season.
Naklo now has eight career singles victories over ranked opponents and looks to add to that total at the ITA All-American Championship.
It will be a return trip for Naklo, who competed in the tournament in 2019 as a freshman. The first Cyclone to make two appearances at the tournament, Naklo went 3-1 in singles action in that event.
THE BOUNCE BACK
Kadleckova rebounded from dropping her first match at the Kitty Harrison Invite and won the consolation title with three straight wins.
The sophomore now owns a .826 winning percentage with an overall singles mark of 19-4. She's won five of her last six matches.
Kadleckova is the third Cyclone to participate in the ITA All-American Championship, joining Naklo and Maty Cancini (2019).
WEEK ONE REWIND
The Cyclones finished the first weekend 14-6 in singles play and 8-5 in doubles matches.
