KEY STORYLINES
-The Cyclones and Coyotes share a pair of common opponents in Creighton and Drake. South Dakota tied Creighton in a scoreless match, while they beat the Bulldogs 4-1.
-Iowa State ranks fourth in the Big 12 in save percentage (.794) and saves per game (3.86).
-The Coyotes have pitched five shutouts this season and allowed just three goals. Two of the three goals allowed were in a loss to Wyoming.
-South Dakota leads the Summit League, and ranks fifth in the nation, with a .929 save percentage.
-Emma Harleroad ranks in the top 10 in the nation in goals against average, save percentage and shutouts for the Coyotes.
-Iowa State is 4-4-3 in non-conference matches under Head Coach Matt Fannon.
-With Clara Thimstrand's goal against Creighton on Thursday, five different Iowa State freshmen have scored goals this season. Of the seven goals scored, six of them are by freshmen.
-Junior Jordan Silkowitz came in at number eight on the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 Thursday night as she recorded a pair of spectacular saves in one possession in the victory over Creighton.
-Senior McKenna Schultz started her 60th career match on Thursday against Creighton. Schultz has the most starts of any active player on the roster for Iowa State.
