AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State soccer team opens Big 12 Conference play on Friday, as the Cyclones travel to Morgantown, W. Va. to face 13th-ranked West Virginia. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (central) and will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
KEY STORYLINES
-Iowa State and West Virginia will face each other in the league opener for the third-straight season.
-Friday is just the second, and final, time this year Iowa State will play back-to-back road matches after opening the season with three-straight road matches.
-The Cyclones lead the Big 12 in shot accuracy at .484.
-West Virginia ranks third in the nation in corner kicks, averaging nine per match.
