Cyclones Host Iowa State Classic, Pollard to Washington

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State track and field team is back at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center this weekend for the Iowa State Classic. Competition will take place Friday and Saturday, with both running and field events beginning at noon.
Meanwhile, the Cyclones will be sending Thomas Pollard to the Husky Classic in Seattle, Washington in an effort to get him qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run. Pollard will run at UW at 10:15 p.m. Central on Friday.
