In his first match of the day, Carr defeated Oklahoma State's 31st-seeded Wyatt Sheets 3-2 on a point for riding time. Coleman led 6-1 after the first period, but a reversal and four-nearfall for Geer in the second led to a nine-point period, as Coleman's lead was cut to 11-10. Coleman notched four takedowns in the third period for the 18-14 victory. In the consolation fourth round, Coleman will face Oregon State's sixth-seeded Trey Munoz.
