SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Iowa State junior Taglao Jeeravivitaporn became the second player in school history to earn a top 20 finish at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, as she tied for 17th at Grayhawk Golf Club Monday. Jeeravivitaporn ranked sixth among non-qualifying team players that earned a spot for the final day of stroke play.
Jeeravivitaporn shot a 72 in the final round, as she moved up three spots on the final leaderboard. Jeeravivitaporn birdied the second, seventh and 17th holes, as she finished one-under par in the final round. Jeeravivitaporn shot a 293 for the 54-holes, the second-lowest NCAA Championship score in school history. Chonlada Chayanun tied for seventh in 2014 with a 282.
With 51 pars over the four rounds, Jeeravivitaporn had the seventh-most in the field.
