MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Iowa State Soccer will travel to Memphis to face off against the Memphis Tigers in their second non-conference match of the season on Thursday. Thursday's match will be the third time that the Cyclones and Tigers have battled each other. The Tigers have won each of the two meetings between the schools. Kickoff for Thursday's match is slated for 7 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
Last week, the Cyclones traveled to the desert to face the Arizona Wildcats for their season-opening match. The Wildcats defeated the Cyclones 2-1.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Memphis is 1-1 in the early goings of the season. The Tigers picked up a season-opening victory over Little Rock 6-1 and fell to No. 18 Ole Miss in their second match 3-0.
Mya Jones, Jocelyn Alonzo and Zoe May have all recorded a goal for the Tigers this season. Alonzo also leads the team with two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Kaylie Bierman recorded her first Tiger victory between the posts after the Tigers defeated Little Rock.

The Cyclones will have a quick turnaround this week. Iowa State is set to face off against the Creighton Blue Jays on Sunday, Aug. 28. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
