OMAHA, Neb. - After a trip to Memphis, Iowa State Soccer will have a quick turnaround as they travel to Omaha to face off against the Creighton Blue Jays in their third non-conference road match of the season on Sunday. Sunday's match will be the tenth time that the Cyclones and Blue Jays have battled each other. Iowa State boasts a 7-1-1 record over Creighton. Kickoff for Sunday's match is slated for 3 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on FloFC.
LAST TIME OUT
This past Thursday, the Cyclones traveled to Memphis to face the Memphis Tigers. The Tigers defeated the Cyclones 3-0.
SCOUTING THE BLUE JAYS
Creighton is 1-0-2 in the early goings of the season. The Blue Jays tied in their first two matches against Montana and Gonzaga. Creighton picked up their first victory of the 2022 campaign versus Kansas City 2-1 earlier this week.
Three Blue Jays have tallied three shots on the season so far. Abigail Santana has recorded the only Creighton goal this season. Goalkeeper Keelan Terrell carries an .889 save percentage and has eight saves on the season so far.
