ANN ARBOR, Mich. - After trips to Arizona, Memphis and Omaha, Iowa State Soccer will head to Ann Arbor, Michigan to face the No. 24 ranked Michigan Wolverines on Thursday. Thursday's match will be the first time in 19 years that the Cyclones and Wolverines will play one another. It will also mark the first time that Iowa State has ever traveled to the "Great Lake State".Â
Michigan owns the lone victory in the series, the Wolverines defeated the Cyclones 4-2 in Ames back in 2003.Â
Kickoff for Thursday's match is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on BIG10+.
LAST TIME OUT
This past Sunday, the Cyclones traveled to Omaha to face the Creighton Bluejays. The Cyclones and Bluejays played to a 0-0 draw.
SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES
Michigan is 3-1-0 in the early goings of the season. The Wolverines were recently ranked No. 24 in this week's United Soccer Coach's Poll. Michigan have picked up victories over No. 21 Washington State, Boston College and Boston University.
Junior Sami Woods leads the Wolverines with three goals so far this season and Senior Lily Farkas is pacing the Michigan offense with 12 shots through four matches.Â
Goalkeeper Izzy Nino carries an .813 save percentage and has recorded 13 saves on the season.

The Cyclones will face the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday at 12 p.m. (CT). Sunday's match will be the final non-conference away match for the Cyclones before they play their first match at home next thursday.
