Cyclones Host Kansas State to Begin Conference Play

AMES, Iowa - After two victories and a draw at home, Iowa State will look to continue building momentum when they host Kansas State on Thursday. On Thursday, the Cyclones will be playing for the program's 100th victory at home and their first 1-0 start to conference play since 2016.

Iowa State and Kansas State have faced one another six times. ISU holds a 4-1 advantage over the Wildcats.

Kickoff for Thursday's match is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.

Last Thursday, the Cyclones defeated the Omaha Mavericks 4-1 at home.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Kansas State is 4-4-1 after their non-conference slate. The Wildcats are coming off a 2-0 loss versus the South Dakota Jackrabbits.

The Wildcats are led by Senior Kyler Goins. So far, Goins has recorded five goals, 11 points and has two game-winning goals.
