Cyclonitas Finish Ninth At The Dick McGuire Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Cyclonitas finish their season opener at the Dick McGuire Invitational in ninth place.Â
Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn led the Cyclonitas through the tournament finishing in a tie for 14th with a total of 11 birdies.Â
Liyana Durisic carded a 219 to tie for 28th. Pammy Chookaew tied for 46th and had three birdies in the front nine of the final round.Â
Keeley Marx tied for 50th and had seven birdies and one eagle. Tess Blair finished tied for 85th. It was both Marx and Blair's first tournament as a part of the Iowa State women's golf team.Â
The Cyclonitas will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 23 in Norman, Oklahoma for the three day Schooner Fall Classic.
