AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's golf team will begin their spring season in Orlando, Fla. at the UCF Challenge. This a three day tournament beginning on Sunday, Feb. 4 and concluding on Tuesday, Feb. 6 with 18 holes played each day.Â
The Lineup: Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn, Liyana Durisic, Keeley Marx, Pammy Chookaew, Tess Blair
The Course: The Eagle Creek Country Club golf course was designed by Ron Garl and Howard Swan and spans 6,367 yards. These architects created a very unique course that blends the traditional European design and American technological innovation. Eagle Creek is the first Florida golf course to use Mini-verde grass, a technologically advanced grass that leads to fast and vibrant greens.Â

- Keeley Marx carded a career low-round of 68 and a low three-round score of 211 at the Schooner Fall Classic.Â
- Blair carded a low-round score of 67 at the Schooner Fall Classic.Â
- Iowa State returns three golfers from last season's NCAA Regional lineup in Pammy Chookaew, Karis Chul-Ak-Sorn and Liyana Durisic.Â
- Marx joins the Cyclonitas after winning the 2022 IMG Academy Junior World Championship.Â
