Kicking Off
After a two-game Texas road trip, Iowa State returns home for the start of a three-match home stand. The Cyclones are set to welcome last year's Big 12 Tournament champ, Kansas, to the Cyclone Soccer Complex on Friday evening.
The Cyclones will look to right the ship, as ISU has dropped its last four contests – all to teams currently ranked in the Top 25. Last time out, ISU avoided a shutout in Fort Worth, winning the second half over the then-No. 7 TCU Horned Frogs with a late header.
Kansas and ISU have played three of the same opponents over their last four contests, each suffering the same results. KU has dropped three of its last four with losses to Texas Tech, TCU and Baylor – again, all of whom are ranked in the Top 25.
Game Note: We ask those attending Friday night's contest to please wear gold, as it is our GOLD RULES game. As a reminder, admission to the Cyclone Soccer Complex is FREE.
