AMES, Iowa – Iowa State track and field returns this Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Boston University Season Opener to kick off indoor season. Nine distance runners head to Boston to run among the nation's best.

The meet will be streamed by FloTrack and live results will be done by Lancer Timing.
Men's 3,000m sections begin at 12:55 p.m. CT, while elite sections of the 3,000m and 5,000m start at 2 p.m. Remaining 5,000m races are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and continue on throughout the day. Iowa State's quartet of 2025 cross country All-Americans who led ISU to a third-place national finish will kick off their track season in the elite 5,000m.
Iowa State will be in action next weekend hosting the ISU Holiday Invite Friday, Dec. 12 at Lied Rec. Indoor season will then resume Jan. 17 with the Bill Bergan Open in Ames.
