ISU Golf Travels to Music City

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State men's golf squad looks to continue their impressive shooting in Nashville, Tenn., partaking in the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Sunday. Each day will tee off at 8 a.m.

Competition will take place on the Ironhorse Course at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The 7,100-yard, par-71 course will host 17 teams, including defending tournament champion, Mississippi.

Iowa State will be paired with Toledo and UNC-Greensboro on the 10th tee, kicking off competition at 8:45 a.m.

The Cyclones are coming off a great performance at the Nevada Wolf Pack Classic, finishing second in a field of 19 teams. Seniors Joe Cermak and Chris Baker both registered their third top-10 finish of the season, while Cermak's first-round score of 68 was his lowest this fall.
