NASHVILLE, Tenn. ? Chris Baker's strong senior campaign continued Sunday afternoon at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate in Nashville, Tenn. Baker carded a 69 in the first 18 holes to put him in third place at the three-day, 54-hole tournament.
Mississippi is currently in first after one day of competition, holding a one-stroke lead over in-state rival Mississippi State.
Jake Amos of Augusta State is leading the medalist race after shooting a four-under 67.
Johnny Larson, Joe Cermak, Ross Menke, and Cedric Bertin are also in competition for Iowa State.
The second round commences tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. with another round of 18. Iowa State will once again start from the 10th tee, paired with Belmont and host Vanderbilt.
