Cyclones Face Slew of Big Ten Teams

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State men's golf team will have one final tune-up before next weekend's Big 12 Championships, traveling to West Lafayette, Ind., for the Boilermaker Invitational, April 19-20. Purdue will play host to the 54-hole tournament.
The two-day event begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start both days at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on the par-72, 7,467-yard Kampen Course.
The Cyclones will tee-off against a field of talented teams that includes Charlotte, the highest ranked opponent ISU has seen all season. The 49ers are currently ranked fourth by Golfweek. Seven Big Ten teams will also compete.
Results will be posted on cyclones.com at the conclusion of both days.
