AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State men's golf team continues its spring season March 19-21 at the Desert Shootout in Goodyear, Ariz. The University of Denver will play host to the 54-hole, three-day tournament at the Palm Valley Golf Course (7,015 yards, par 71). The Cyclones will be among a field of 15 teams, including a trio of conference foes in Kansas, Kansas State and Nebraska.
Contributing to the team scores for ISU will be Ben Herrera, Thomas Lathrop, Nate McCoy, Michael Wuertz and Nathan Leary. For the first time this season, the Cyclones will also field two individuals with Ross Menke and Eric Lindquist competing unattached. This will only be Lindquist's second tournament of his career and first since the 2008 Shocker Classic.
