LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The Iowa State men's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds of the First Tee Collegiate Classic in Little Rock, Ark. The Cyclones shot a 292 in each round to finish with a 584 total heading into tomorrow's final 18 holes. Missouri leads a field of 18 schools, carding a 572.
ISU's Ben Herrera fired a 141 for the day and is in a tie for third place on the individual leader board. Nathan Leary (144) is tied for 13th place and Borja Virto (149), Michael Wuertz (150) and Tom Lathrop (155) are also competing for the Cyclone squad. Stuart Ballingall (132) of Missouri is seven strokes ahead of the closest competitor in the race for medalist honors.
