TRINITY, Texas- The Iowa State men's golf team finished in 10th place at the Big 12 Championships at the Whispering Pines Golf Club. ISU fired a team score of 1203 (300-294-311-298) in the four rounds. The No. 3-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys won the event for the fourth consecutive year, while Texas A&M finished in second.

Sophomore Nate McCoy led the Cyclones, finishing in a tie for 32nd with a 298. Senior Ben Herrera (299) tied for 34th. Jacob Aaholm, Tom Lathrop and Nathan Leary also competed for the Cyclones.

Texas Tech's Chris Ward earned medalist honors, shooting a 279.
