Virto Leads Cyclones Into Final Day At Big 12s

HUTCHINSON, Kan. - After three rounds at the Big 12 Championships in Hutchinson, Kan., the Iowa State men's golf team is currently tied for 11th place (900). No. 1-ranked Oklahoma State is in first place at 845, followed by 7th-ranked Texas A&M at 857.
Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffman is leading the medalist race at 207, followed by teammate Kevin Tway at 210.
Borja Virto is pacing the Cyclones heading into the final round tied for 36th after firing a 75 this afternoon. Virto has a 54-hole tally of 224. Nathan Leary is tied for 47th with a 227.
The final round will conclude tomorrow.
