BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Iowa State men's golf team is tied for seventh after one round at the Adidas Hoosier Invitational. Competitors were unable to finish the second round due to inclement weather. The conclusion of round two and the third and final round will be completed tomorrow.
The Cyclones fired a 290 in the first round this afternoon, only 11 strokes back from first-place Indiana at 279. Nate McCoy paced the Cyclones, carding a 71 to put him in a tie for 15th. Tom Lathrop is tied for 24th with a 72 and Borja Virto is tied for 29th after carding a 73.
Cleveland State's Kent Monas leads the medalist race with a first-round 66.
