Cyclones Tied For Fourth at VCU Shootout

RICHMOND, Virginia – The Iowa State men's golf team is tied for fourth place at the Janney VCU Shootout after carding rounds of 289-291 (580) today.
James Madison is the 36-hole leader at 567, followed by East Carolina and VCU at 576 in a tie for second.
Junior Nick Voke is in a tie for 11th after carding rounds of 71-72 (143) to lead the Cyclones. Voke shot a 3-under 33 on the back nine of round one to help him fire a 1-under 71. Junior Jack Carter is a shot back of Voke in a tie for 15th at 144. Carter is at even par with a pair of 72s.
The third and final round will conclude tomorrow with 18 holes.
