Cyclones Begin Spring Season On Friday

AMES, Iowa –The Iowa State men's golf team is getting back into the swing with its spring season at the Arizona Intercollegiate, January 29-30 in Tucson, Ariz.
Junior Nick Voke will lead the squad this weekend with a team-low 72.0 stroke average in the fall. Voke placed in the top-3 in two of three tournaments, including a runner-up finish at the VCU Shootout.
Senior Collin Foster and junior Ruben Sondjaja were second on the team in stroke average in the fall at 74.92.
The Cyclone roster received a boost with the addition of mid-year transfer Denzel Ieremia, a sophomore from Hamilton, New Zealand. Ieremia has a national title at the New Zealand Stroke Play and a Cambridge Classic title on his resume.
