LA QUINTA, Calif. – The Iowa State men's golf team finished 12th at The Prestige at PGA West tournament at the Greg Norman Course. The tournament featured six teams currently rated in the top-30 of the Golfstat national rankings.
The Cyclones carded a 292 (303-283-292=878) in today's third round. LSU won the team title at 826
Iowa State was led by Nick Voke, who tied for 23rd at 215. His second-round 66 was a season-low. Ruben Sondjaja improved in each round, firing a final-round 70 this afternoon to finish the tournament in a tie for 34th at 218 (76-72-70).
Freshman Jon Hudson posted the best tournament of his career, tying for 48th with rounds of 78-72-72 (222).
