AMES, Iowa – Iowa State All-Big 12 golfer Nick Voke will represent New Zealand at the 2016 World Amateur Team Championships beginning today (Sept. 21-24).
The tournament will be held at the Mayakoba El Camaleon Golf Club and the Iberostar Play Paraiso Golf Club in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The event is sponsored by the International Golf Federation and hosted by the Mexican Golf Federation. It is held every two years and features 70 teams from around the world.
A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Voke is one of the greatest golfers in school history. The three-time Big 12 All-Tournament selection has 15 career top-10 finishes and was a Ping All-Central Region honoree in 2016.
