MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Iowa State men's golf team finished 11th (305-292=597) at the General Hackler Championship. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to weather conditions on the final day.Â
The Cyclones' secon-Â round 292 allowed them to leap four spots from round one.Â
Wake Forest (279-282=561) won the talented field, which consisted of nine teams currently ranked in the GolfStat top-50.Â
Senior Nick Voke (78-69=147) jumped 46 spots from round one to finish in tie for 27th. His second-round 69 featured only one blemish and was his sixth sub-70 effort in his last eight rounds.Â
Freshman Tripp Kinney is also tied for 27th (74-73=147) and junior Denzel Ieremia (72-77=149)  tied for 46th.
