AMES, Iowa – Former Cyclone Chris Baker made history in September by becoming the first Iowa State golfer to earn their PGA Tour card.
A native of Brownstown, Ind., the 33-year-old is in the midst of his rookie season on Tour, making three cuts and over $84,000 in earnings so far.
Baker, who was an Honorable Mention All-American and the 2008 Iowa State Male Athlete of the Year, joined us in our recent CyCast.
He talked about his journey to the Tour, life as a rookie on Tour, playing golf with Tiger Woods and his favorite memories as a Cyclone.
