Cyclones Finish 10th At The NIT

Tucson, AZ – The Iowa State men's team placed 10th at the National Invitational Tournament today after posting a final round score of 284. The Cyclones carded a three-round 862 total (291-287-284).

Senior Tripp Kinney was on fire this week, carding three consecutive rounds under par and finishing in a tie for ninth place at 10-under, his 12^th career top-10 showing. Kinney's 206 (71-67-68) was a shot away from tying his career low and was his lowest 54-hole score of the season.

Nate Vance, the new addition to the Cyclones men's golf roster, finished his week with back-to-back below par rounds of 71. Vance tied for 53rd and had his best performance this season at 217.

The Cyclones will be back in action next weekend at the Hootie at Bulls Bay in South Carolina.
