Barker is a three-time NCAA Regional qualifier. He tied for 19th at the 2018 NCAA Pacific Regional. A native of Willunga, Australia, Barker is second on the team in stroke average (72.75) and ranked No. 181 in the nation by Golfweek. Barker led the Cyclones with three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up showing at the Arizona Intercollegiate.
Cyclone NCAA History
An Iowa State team or individual has made a NCAA Regional in nine-straight seasons. Kinney and Barker are the seventh and eighth Cyclones, respectively, to make an NCAA Regional as an individual. Since the NCAA Regional format was introduced in 1990, only two Cyclones have advanced to the NCAA Championships as individuals (2012- Nate McCoy; 2019- Kinney). Three Cyclone teams have advanced to the NCAA Championship (2014, 2017, 2018) in the NCAA Regional era.
