Cyclones Travel To The Prestige

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's golf team travels to La Quinta, Calif. for The Prestige at PGA West. The tournament will consist of three 18-hole days beginning on Monday, Feb. 20 and concluding on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

The Notes:

Last season, the Cyclones finished in a tie for ninth place at The Prestige. The team posted a final tally of 895 (301-301-293) with former Cyclone, Lachlan Barker, leading the way tying for 26th place.
The Cyclones recently competed at The Arizona Intercollegiate. Luke Gutschewski led the Cyclones with a 213 total and finished in a tie for 24th place.
Luke Gutschewski leads the team in scoring with a 69.40 season average. Gutschewski also leads the team with 60 birdies.
Hunter Johnson joins the lineup this week. Johnson holds a 75.00 season stroke average and his best finish came at the Minnesota Classic where he placed in a tie for 43rd.
