AMES, Iowa – Iowa State next takes on the Texas Relays March 30 through April 1 while the distance squad heads to the Stanford Invitational March 31.
Cyclones will see three days of competition at the Texas Relays held at Mike A. Myers Stadium, the site of 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships. The event will be streamed on the Longhorn Network and links to the stream can be found at this link and live results here.

Zach Podraza will begin action for the Cyclones at Texas Relays in the javelin at 2:30 p.m. CT on Thursday. On Friday at the Stanford Invitational, ISU is entered in the men's and women's 1,500m and 5,000m run in addition to the women's 3,000m steeplechase.
Last week at the Aztec Invitational Thai Thompson took the decathlon title and Sydney Willits won the heptathlon, earning them Big 12 Athlete of the Week honors. Thompson currently leads the nation with his score of 6,866 points while Willits ranks fourth with 4,931. Ava Cinnamo performed to the seventh-best score (4,780) in school history and Kiersten Fisher put up the 10th-best score with 4,618 in their first-career heptathlon.
Next up, Iowa State travels to Pella, Iowa for the Dutch Invitational on Friday, April 7.
