SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Iowa State women's golf team travels to Kierland Golf Club in Arizona to compete in the Big 12 Match Play Tournament for the first time. The two rounds on Friday, Apr. 7, and the morning round on Saturday will consist of pool play with teams playing in threesomes.
After pool play, the top eight teams will move to the semifinal round for both the championship and consolation bracket on Saturday afternoon. The tournament will conclude on Sunday morning after the final matches in the championship and consolation brackets.
No. 3 seeded Iowa State will begin the tournament with a matchup against No. 6 TCU and No. 9 Kansas State.

The Notes:
- Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn earned Big 12 Golfer of the Month honors for the month of March. Chul-Ak-Sorn was the first Cyclone to earn this honor since Celia Barquin Arozamena was named player of the month back in 2018.
- Chul-Ak-Sorn tied the lowest individual 54-hole score in NCAA history after posting a 25-under 191 total at the MountainView Collegiate.
- The Cyclones claimed their second team title of the season with a 33-shot victory over No. 23 Ohio State at the MountainView Collegiate.
- Iowa State set the lowest 54-hole team score in NCAA history by 10 shots after recording a 60-under 804 total at the MountainView Collegiate.
