Gutschewski Tied for 18th after Second Round of NCAA Norman Regional

NORMAN, Okla. - Iowa State sophomore Luke Gutschewski sits in a tie for 18th after the first two rounds of the NCAA Norman Regional at the OU Jimmie Austin Golf Club.
Gutschewski was one-under par on the front nine and one-over par on the back nine, as he finished with an even 72 on the day. With his 70 from the first round, Gutschewski is one of eight players with a 142 over the first two rounds.
On the front nine, Gutschewski had birdies on the third and seventh holes. Gutschewski turned in a birdie on the 13th hole of the back nine.
Texas Tech's Ludvig Aberg has the individual lead with a nine-under par 135, while Alabama leads the team race with a 561. The Crimson Tide have a two-shot lead over Oklahoma for first, while Texas Tech and Colorado are two strokes behind the Sooners.Â
Gutschewski is scheduled to tee off at 10:23 a.m. in the final round Wednesday morning.
