Cyclones in Fifth After Day One of Tiger Collegiate

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Cyclones are in fifth after rounds one and two of the Tiger Collegiate with a score of four-under-par.Â
Central Arkansas is in first with a two round score of 553. Jack Lundin from No. 37 Missouri and Dominic Clemons from Stetson are tied for first with a two round score of 134 (64, 70).Â
Luke Gutschewski is tied for fifth with Jakob Melin from San Francisco with a score of five-under-par. Gutschewski had eight birdies on the day with both rounds in the 60s. Paul Beauvy is in a tie for 12th, trailing Gutschewski by two strokes. Beauvy carded a first round 68 to tie his season low. Lukas Pany is tied for 19th after carding a first round 68, a new season low round.Â
Freshman Owen Sawyer is five-over-par after the first two rounds. Sawyer had six birdies on the day for a two-round score of 147. Zach May carded a 152 through the first two rounds to end the first day in a tie for 87th.Â
Dianchao Wu is competing as an individual and ended the day in a tie for 32nd with a 143. Wu improved his first round score by one stroke to shoot an even 71.Â
The Cyclones will play the last 18 holes of the Tiger Collegiate on Tuesday, April 9 with a shotgun start at 8 am (CST).Â
