Kicking Off
Looking to snap a three-game skid to its in-state rival, Iowa State will welcome the Hawkeyes to the Cyclone Sports Complex for the first of 12 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk events over the academic year.
Previously, the Cyclones finished with a draw against Creighton in the first part of a four-game homestand, 0-0. ISU and Creighton combined to tally 28 fouls and seven yellow cards in what was a physical battle.
The Hawkeyes have gotten off to a prolific start, owning a 3-1 record and a 17-3 goal differential. Iowa's lone loss came on the road at No. 11 Wake Forest, and the team has made short work of the other three programs it has faced.
