Cyclones Finish 10th at The Prestige At PGA West

LA QUINTA, Calif.- The Iowa State men's golf team fired a final-round 299 at the Prestige at PGA West this afternoon to tie for 10^th at 596.

Oklahoma State (283-284=567) edged out Pepperdine (285-283=568) for the title in a field featuring eight teams ranked in the nation's top-50.

Senior Denzel Ieremia (69-77) and true freshman Lachlan Barker (74-72) tied for 28th at 146 to pace the Cyclones. Barker was 2-over through four holes, but went 1-under in his last 14 holes.

Tripp Kinney (74-77=151) ended in a tie for 52^nd and Danny Daniels (83-73=156) tied for 73^rd. Daniels was even par in his last 14 holes this afternoon.

The Cyclones will be back in action Feb. 26-27 at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Arizona.
