HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Iowa State men's golf team finished 10th at the 2021 Big 12 Championship, carding rounds of 304-312-286-288 for an 1190 total.
Oklahoma State took home the championship trophy by edging Oklahoma by a single stroke at 1129.
Tripp Kinney posted the lowest final round score for the Cyclones on the last day by firing a 1-under 69. Kinney carded four-straight birdies on the back nine and ended the final 36 holes of the tournament at even par.
He finished tied for 35th in the individual standings at 296.
Lachlan Barker and Frank Lindwall were a shot back of Kinney (297) in a tie for 39th.
Iowa State ends their regular season and will wait for the NCAA Regional participant announcement on May 5th at 1 p.m. CT.
