AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women's golf team will compete in its 12th-straight NCAA Regional, May 9-11 in Stanford, Calif.
The Cyclones will be the sixth seed at the NCAA Stanford Regional and are among seven Big 12 teams to advance to the postseason.
The Schedule and Course
The University of Stanford will host the Regional from May 9-11. Iowa State will tee off at 10 a.m. (Central) on Monday, May 9, while the tee times on Tuesday and Wednesday will be determined by the standings. Participants will play at the Stanford Golf Course (Stanford, Calif.), which is setup as a par-71 at 6,291 yards.
Format
The tournament features 54 holes played over three days with the top four teams and two individuals from non-qualifying teams advancing to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships, beginning May 20 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. The other five regional sites are Albuquerque, N.M. (New Mexico), Ann Arbor, Mich. (Michigan), Stillwater, Okla. (Oklahoma State), Tallahassee, Fla. (Florida State), and Franklin, Tenn. (Vanderbilt).

The Cyclones
Iowa State is ranked No. 36 nationally by Golfstat. The lineup will consist of: Warda Amira Rawof, Ruby Chou, Liyana Durisic, Charley Jacobs and Taglao Jeeravivitaporn. With a 72.06 stroke average, Jeeravivitaporn leads the Cyclonitas. Durisic is second on the team in stroke average at 72.87, while her 72.97 career average is the best in Iowa State history.
Postseason History
This marks the 16th time and the 12th year in a row (1993-96, 2010-22) Iowa State has qualified for an NCAA Regional. In 2014, the Cyclones advanced to the NCAA Championships for the first and only time in school history, qualifying out of the NCAA West Regional held at Tumble Creek in Cle Elum, Wash.
