Gutschewski Finishes 23rd at NCAA Norman Regional

NORMAN, Okla. - Iowa State sophomore Luke Gutschewski finished in a tie for 23rd Wednesday at the NCAA Norman Regional at the OU Jimmie Austin Golf Club.
In the final round, Gutschewski shot a one-under par 71, as he finished with a 213 over the three rounds.
Gutschewski was one-over par on the front nine, notching a birdie on the fifth hole. On the back nine, he went two-under, nailing birdies on the 13th and 15th holes.
For the season, Gutschewski finished with a 70.78 stroke average, the best in school history.
Texas Tech's Ludvig Aberg won medalist honors with a 202 over the three round, edging Oklahoma's Drew Goodman by a stroke. No. 17 Alabama won the team title, beating No. 9 Oklahoma by three strokes.
