Season Recap: Men's Golf

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's golf team wrapped up the 2022-23 season with Luke Gutschewski competing at the NCAA Norman Regional.

KEY STORYLINES
-Luke Gutschewski finished in a tie for 23rd at the NCAA Norman Regional as an individual selection.
-Gutschewski joins Scott Fernandez as the second sophomore in school history to earn a selection.
-This season, Gutschewski led the team in scoring at 70.78 and birdies with 129, while also earning four top-10 finishes.
-Gutschewski concluded the regular season ranked No. 106 by Golfstat and No. 162 according to Golfweek.
-On the Cyclones' all-time career stroke average list, Gutschewski sits in second with a 71.94 scoring average.

-Beauvy earned his second top-five finish after placing fifth with a 209 (69-72-68) three round total.
-Gutschewski and Zach May each finished in a tie for 16th place after carding 215 tallies.
