AMES, Iowa – Iowa State men's golf head coach Andrew Tank has announced the upcoming 2022-23 schedule. The Cyclones are slated to play in 11 regular season tournaments, followed by the Big 12 and NCAA Championships.
The Cyclones open the season Sept. 4-5 at the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Ind. Iowa State will play its second tournament of September in Independence, Minn. at the Gopher Invitational Sept. 11-12. The Cyclones will close out September back in Iowa, playing in the Zach Johnson Invitational Sept. 26-27 in West Des Moines.
Iowa State will play in a pair of tournaments in October to close the fall portion of the schedule. The Cyclones will travel to Milwaukee Oct. 2-3 for the Marquette Intercollegiate and conclude the fall season at Big 12 Match Play Oct. 17-19 in Hockley, Texas.
The spring season brings one meet per month for the first three months of the year, starting with the Arizona Intercollegiate Jan. 30-31 in Tucson. Iowa State will play at the Prestige at PGA West Feb. 20-22 in La Quinta, Calif. before playing in the Colleton River Collegiate March 6-7 in Bluffton, S.C.
Iowa State heads to Chandler, Ariz. April 3-4 for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic before traveling to Columbia, Mo. April 10-11 for the Tiger Collegiate Invitational. The Cyclones conclude the regular season April 15-16 at the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City. Iowa State won the Hawkeye Invitational in 2015 and 2018.
The Big 12 Championship is scheduled for April 24-26 in Hutchinson, Kan. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 15-17, while the NCAA Championships are May 26-31 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
