ISU Heads to California for Four Meets

AMES, Iowa – The Cyclones have a big week ahead with four competitions in California held April 13-15. Iowa State will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Mt. SAC Relays, Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and the Long Beach Invitational.

Cyclones will run in distance and throwing events at the 63^rd Mt. SAC Relays presented by Nike April 13-15 held in Walnut, Calif. at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. RunnerSpace will stream the meet and results are provided by Finished Results.

Iowa State will be represented at the Bryan Clay Invitational held April 13-15 in Azusa, Calif. Cyclones will compete in distance, field and multi-events. Thursday heptathlon events are 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m dash and Friday events are the long jump, javelin and 800m run. Thursday decathlon events are the 100m dash, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400m dash and Friday events are 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and 1,500m run.

Men and women will throw in events at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on Thursday, April 13 in Long Beach, Calif. at the Jack Rose Track. Three men and three women are entered throughout the hammer throw, discus and shot put.

Cyclones will compete in sprinting, middle distance, relay and field events at the Long Beach Invite April 14-15. Both the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and the Long Beach Invite are hosted by Long Beach State University.

Cyclones have currently made 13 additions or improvements to top 10 program performances in the first month of outdoor season. Iowa State next heads to the Musco Twilight hosted by Iowa in Iowa City on Saturday, April 22.
