Cyclones Bring Home the Iowa Fall Classic Title

RIVERSIDE, Iowa - The men's golf team brings home the Iowa Fall Classic title. The Cyclones won their first tournament of the season by carding a team score of 860.

Luke Gutschewski led the Cyclones to their first team victory since the 2018 Hawkeye Invitational. Gutschewski had two eagles and 13 birdies to tie for third with a score of eight-under-par.

Paul Beauvy placed second on the team after tying for ninth. Zach May came in third for the Cyclones after carding a first round 68 and having 14 birdies.

Dianchao Wu carded a score of 223 and tied for 29th while Owen Sawyer carded a 226 and tied for 41st.

Nippit Klinsrisuk played as an individual for the Cyclones and carded a 236 (76-80-80).

The Cyclones will travel to Independence, Minnesota this week to play at the Gopher Invitational. The tournament begins Sunday, Sept. 10 at 7:15 a.m. CT and will conclude Monday, Sept. 11.
